7250i PC Connectivity SDK v2.1

Hey ,

My 7250i phone gets connected easily with the help of the
PCSUITE and DKU_5...but but

when i install the PC Connectivity SDK v2.1( after removing PC
Suite that is ) that can be used for sending , receiving sms etc
etc ...the connection just doesnt get established ...

By what ive read up on google groups till now , i have a non original
Kingsun cable ...which might be giving the problems ...

How do i rectify the problem ....is ther no way out ..other than
getting another cable ...because i need to use the SDK in my VB
application to send receive SMS

Please advise ...

You could get a Bluetooth Dongle instead of a cable.

My mistake, I should have said an Infra-red Dongle for the Nokia 7250i.

No we have have to work using the cable ....for the project ...

Hello!

Original Nokia Software isn't compatible with Kingsun based cables. As per
reports from our respective customers, only Oxygen Phone Manager II (
http://www.opm-2.com/opm2/ ) and Oxygen Express (
http://www.oxygen-express.com/ ) can pick the phone up via Kingsun-based
cables.

Our user informs in topic below, that it works:

Just set corresponding virtual COM port ( 'Tools' -> 'Options' ->
'Connection and Common' -> 'Connection' in Oxygen Phone Manager II or
'Tools' -> 'Options' in Oxygen Express ) and set the cable's type as
'DLR-3/DLR-3p'

You can download the latest free trial version for Oxygen Phone Manager II
and Oxygen Express here: http://www.oxygensoftware.com/en/download/

PS: please, do not check 'DKU-5/CA-42' or 'DKU-2' option. Kingsun cables
don't work under these settings.

own SMS-based application in VB for non-original cable connection, we can
