    Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way to convert a 6822 which is made for
850/1800/1900 Mhz to work with 900/1800/1900 Mhz instead? I recently bought
a new 6822 which turned out to be US model and it of course would not work
with the 900 Mhz GSM network here in Australia. So I ended up selling it on
Ebay at a fair loss. 8-)

But I wondered if the handset could have been changed to work on 900 instead
of 850 Mhz? Is it possible without replacing the whole phone or the
    electronics inside?

    Regards,

    Craig.

See More: can a 850/1800/1900 MHz 6822 be changed to work with 900/1800/1900 MHz?

Ok so it's a component-level mod which is what I was suspecting it would be.
Thanks anyway - at least I know now.

The 6822 is a nice handset despite the lack of expandable memory capacity.
