    Will not work; nothing equivalent available from Nokia.

    damnit. what won't work? wrong freq? not fcc compliant? i guess what
    i'm getting at is if i know someone at cingular can i make it work.

    model number? maybe i can find one on ebay.

    AFAIAA wrong frequency, in which case Cingular cannot fix.
