    My girlfriend has given me her old 7250i to replace my very old 5110! But
    its reuqtesing a PUK cide..she has no idea... can anyone offer any
    suggestions?

    This is because the SIM card you have inserted has a PIN and someone has
    entered the wrong PIN more than 3 times. You now have a total of 10
    attempts at entering the correct PUK code or the SIM card will be
    rendered useless.

    You need to contact your carrier to find out the PUK for your SIM card
    to restore it for use (provided you have not entered an incorrect PUK 10
    times already!)

    If its on O2 Uk then anybody can get it for you from there website as long
    as you
    know the phone number, if its with anybody else you will have to ring
    up your network and request it...
