Nokia 6280 - 2 questions !

Hi there,
Hope someone can help me with two these questions !

1)
I have just got a Nokia 6280 for my wife and it came with a 64MB Nokia
miniSD card with it.
I purchased a SanDisk 2GB miniSD card and then tried to transfer the
files from the 64MB to the 2GB card ....
But some just won't copy over... I have tried doing this on 2 computer
but no joy !

One example is the file in Extra\predefcollections and is called
"intro_Nokia6280intro.jar".
If I try to copy it I get "Access Denied"

Other examples are in Extra\predefmusic :
Late Nite.acc, Soul Shaker.aac and T.R.B.aac

How can I copy these (and a couple of others) to the new card ?
Help please ????

This is a lot simpler question !
What version of the Symbiam Operating System does the Nokia 6280 use
please ?
I have a N95 and I know it uses S60 V3 but have no idea which of the
many variations the 6280 uses !

Several sites report that it uses Symbian /40/.

Try using MobiMB, at http://www.logomanager.co.uk

MobiMB gives more direct control over the filesystem on this phone.

The Nokia 6280 does not use SymbianOS at all.

Hi Mike,

This is such a late reply (like a month !) but I just haven't had the
time to do anything !

But finally I did manage to download the trial version of MobiMB
The trial version doesn't allow you do do much (well anything really,
except cheack that it will work with the phone) but when I contacted
their support they said it should do what I want, so I spent my money
on it.
(£21.90, but that includes a year's upgrades as well, which was
extra.)
It might seem expensive but, between my wife and I, we have 3 x Nokia
6280's and a Nokia 6288, all of which will benefit from the program.
Even for one phone, for what it can do, it is good value.

Anyway I CAN copy all the files from the original miniSD card using
this program (it has to be in the phone and then you access it via the
program) and I then copied them (drag & drop) into a folder on my hard
drive.
From there I could copy ALL the files onto the new SanDisk 2GB card,
so problem solved !
I can really recommend this program, it is EXCELLENT and also easy to
use (well it has to be so I can use it !), the guys have done a really
good job in writing it.
There are other programs there too ... worth a look at !

So, basically Mike, thanks a lot for that, you have helped me and I
appreciate that !
Once again many apologies for the SLOOOOOW, reply, but I ALWAYS thank
people for the help, it is only manners !
