Yes, it is, software is called IRRemote (original, eh!) and is available
from http://www.psiloc.com to buy.
I don't condone illegal activities but if you know what you are doing
you can get various 'patched' versions - however I would recommend the
buying it for support and updates. It's a good program and works well -
you get decent range from it and it has lots of built in templates.

Re: TV remote & 7650
Ive had this software and i think its crap
Ive tuned in a number of things around the house to it, and majority of them
dont work. Even the sony stereo in my room, is only capable of having teh cd
player controlled...the radio, tape decks, volume and everything else on it
dont work with the remote. Not to mention, infrared has to b aimed almost
perfectly at the infrared reciever and within 1 metre. If i wanted my hand
within one metre, i might as well walk over to the appliance. I cant wait
for the day when bluetooth shall rule the land!

Well, you're right, it worked ok only with my TV. It was somewhat ok on a
Kenwood stereo, and no good on Philips VCR and TV...but oh well, it's for
fun basically.

I tried this with my Sony TV, Pioneer DVD player and Yamaha amplifier, and
works fine with all of them.

Hmm, I think I'm sitting about 2,5 meters from my devices on my sofa and
this still seemed to work.
