Has anyone implemented an audio connection between a PC with a bluetooth
card and the Nokia phones that work with Bluetooth head sets? Basically
we want to use our PC as a Bluetooth hands free kit, so we can talk in to
the pc, and have this directed to the phone.
Thanks

But why? If you talk to the PC and it pass it to the phone why not get a
Soretooth Hands Free Kit and leave out the complication of talking to the
'puter. Seems a real complicated way of going about things.

Re: Audio Bluetooth Conection - Phone and PC
Yes, I would like to see this done also. The headset profile is available,
can be connected to OK, and phone displays headset icon, mutes audio as if
it is connected to a headset, but no sound occurs on PC end.
Would mean I can leave my phone in my jacket, connect to phone by Bluetooth,
use PC as Headphone and Microphone, (much better audio and no risk of EMR)
and also use PC Suite for sms.
Not too much to ask!!!

Re: Audio Bluetooth Conection - Phone and PC
I've had this working with no problems. There's a slight lag between talking
on the PC and hearing on the phone you've dialled, but it works fine. You
should be able to just use the widcomm (currently using v1.3.2.7 as supplied
with an MSI dongle) "audio gateway" widget. Make sure the "bluetooth audio
device" is piped to come through your speakers though.

Re: Audio Bluetooth Conection - Phone and PC
Yes. As long as your bluetooth card will support bluetooth audio this should
work. If you're using Widcomm based BT drivers, there should be an option
called Audio Gateway, this should allow what you want.
You need to pair your computer BT adaptor with your phone, then initiate the
audio gateway (*not* headset) connection. Your computer will act like a
headset then (and the headset profile should be activated on your phone when
connected).

Re: Audio Bluetooth Conection - Phone and PC
Done all that. Everything looks good, except, no sound from PC or phone.
Yes, I have speakers on my PC, and they work...
I am using Belkin F8t001 USB adapter with Belkin's Widcomm stack v1.3.2.7
