Nope you will need a sim card even a disconnected one will do

When did a phone ever work without a SIM card, except for limited emergency
calls on some networks, or as a PDA for those few 'smart phone' type
handsets that support 'flight mode'..?
You want a phone to work, you put a SIM in first mate...

Yup, just dreading the thought of my 'out on the road' laptop access
rocketing to £108 a month becuase of a 'minor change' by Blue Yonder, when I
already pay £50 a month for 2Mb Broadband. That does indeed make for a
hectic day. Nevertheless, I USED to be helpful and polite in THIS group, so
it was wrong of me to be so contrite here. *lol*

I am sorry i affarid i explain my diff wrong, i have a phone i will
buy SIM card next 2 week, i want to access menu for adding my
addressbook to it and configure it before my SIM card arive, so see i
have a choice and that is 2 week waiting but i look for hidden codes
like *#0000# that shows version can make menu possible for me before
this boring 2 weeks, i cannot buy my SIM card before that time caz of
some resones, so see i am not a fool that buy phones for hearing radio
