I've had FOUR handsets within the past 3 weeks of the above. Each time I've
had error messages such as:
"Sim Card Rejected"
"Please insert Sim"
"Sim Card blocked"
Have taken the handset back each time (after contacted my provider) and got
a new handset.
Here's the strange part of this tale. On the current handset, I started to
use the leather case I got free, and within a day or so, I got a "Please
insert Sim" message briefly come up on the screen. I've taken the phone out
of the case...and so far... it's been fine...
Any ideas why a leather case would cause this (Handset No.3 was also out of
the case for a time and it also worked fine-no sim messages)?

Um... Just out of interest, have you checked your SIM? It could be the cause
of the problems.
Justin.

Re: Nokia 7250i
I bought my Nokia 7250 in August from O2 at upgrade price at what I
thought was a reasonable price - £139.99.
Now my girlfriend has gone and bought the Nokia 7250i from O2 at
upgrade price. It only cost her £49.99!!!
Not even a full 3 months has passed but I've lost money AND lost out
on a better phone!
Am I pissed?!

My 7210 has been doing the exact same thing. CPW have looked at it 3 times,
but it still does it. It has now been sent to Nokia. The sim works perfectly
ok in my ancient nk702(Why don't they make phones like they used to???)

Possibily... but that's what happens all the time.
Chances are if I upgraded in 3 months from now to a 7250i it'd cost me a
fraction of what it might've at the moment (it was cheaper to get a new
contract than to upgrade...)
