6100 infra red problem.

I've enabled Infra Red on my 6100, and sat it alongside the IR adapter
connected to my PC (which works because my PDA sync's through it) but the
phone seems really unstable...

It will only make a connected once in a blue moon and when Connection
Manager says that it is connected, PC Suite 5.1 says that it isn't...

Help...thinking of buying a DKU-5 instead...

Ignore that post, search of google groups took me to the IrDA manufacturers
website http://www.sigmatel.com/drivers.htm which solved my problem.

Drop the speed of the IR port from 4 Mbps to 115,200 bps or 56000 bps.

Did that and d/loaded new drivers from www.sigmatel.com which now works a
treat.
