custom ring tones for 7210 call groups

Is there a way to assign downloaded poly ring tones to call groups on the
7210? It seems I can assign ring tones that come with the 7210 but nothing
from the Gallery is available to assign as a ring tone to a caller group.
AM I doing something wrong?

Had the same problem with my 3586i. My workaround was to use the demo
version of Oxygen Phone Manager. Use the FILE...LOAD FILE TO PHONE..MIDI
RINGTONE option. This will place the ringtone in the list of main
ringtones, not the gallery. I think they need to be under 10k to load like
this.

Hello!

To do that using the phone itself, you should change its firmware to newer
one. There was a problem with selecting a tone in older firmware versions.
