Have had or used a good few of the newer Nokias apart from the 8910i (and
the 8910) just wondering if they are any good as its a bit pricey for an
upgrade just to find out its useless, cheers

Re: 8910i Any good ??
I had an 8910 and now have the 8910i; both phones are extremely classy and
stylish and cause heads to turn. The design is faultless on both. Definitely
worth the money.
If you have to choose between them, go for the 8910i - the full colour
screen and improved menu system are excellent.
Bluetooth on both phones works without problem and is great for use with my
iPaq - I can access the internet and email anywhere I happen to be. Although
there are few bells and whistles (I have a GX20 and rarely use its camera
feature, although very good), what you get does exactly what it is designed
to - and very well.
Highly recommended.

impressed by them, but it would appear that they were written either by the
gaming fraternity or the "I'm gonna make your ears bleed when my phone rings
brigade", you have said enough to push me over the edge (didn't take much
really !) and off I go to order one , again thanks

My pleasure <s>.
Incidentally, the good looks of this phone are enhanced by the sleek black
titanium, which feels as cool as it looks.
And with the PC Suite that comes with it, you can design and upload your own
graphics and tones, which is a god-send and may save a small fortune <g>.
Also makes it far easier to enter numbers to the phone book and to save an
archive copy for back-ups.

<snip>
Again thanks for the info, mine should be winging its way to me as we speak,
one last question, are they really easily scratched ? not that I mind to
much as I am pretty careful with my phones but I was told last night that
they are much more suseptable to damage that their plastic counterparts
(sounds odd..... ) -cheers-

Re: 8910i Any good ??
I took my 8910 (original titanium colour) everywhere with me for well over a
year and it is still completely scratch-free, despite constant use. The new
8910i is less than a week old and is black, so its too early to say. But
rubbing the edge of my nail across it quite roughly leaves no mark
whatsoever, if that means anything.
Perhaps someone who has had the black version for a little could comment?
