Nokia 3595 - Comments?

Good afternoon,

Well, it seems it is time for an upgrade of my old Nokia 5190.

One of the phones I have been looking at is the 3595. It seems to have a
fairly good line-up of features.

Does anyone have any comments on the Nokia 3595 regarding
reception?.....position of keys?.....ease of use?

Hi Bernie. I just got a couple after having some oker Nokia and
Ericssons. I also did a lot of research. I like the phone a lot. i'm
notr into cameras and infrared...I just want a decent phone because I
use it for..gasp...phone calls.

It works well in my area-South Florida. The key position is fine. It
is very easy to use. Loud audio, too. The voice command dialing works
well. The interent browser works well. The screen can be a little
difficult to see in daylight, especially with one of the included
wallpapers on. Construction is solid.

Some folks say it's big, but it's really pretty small. fits in my
pocket easily, and it's pretty light. Outstanding battery life. One
charge will last all week.

I like the phone a lot. I did try a 6200, but the keys are way to
small and close together. The 6200 screen was virtually identical.

The 3595 is a good phone.

I've had a 3595 for two weeks and well it seems to be a good basic phone
it started to reboot itself on ocassion. I would be doing something like
adding or moving a contact to the sim card and the phone would shut down.

I found the reception and sound quality to be quite good even in parking
garages or basements. The screen is a little dated but still okay for a
basic phone. I don't mind the odd keypad layout either.


Nokia, here in Canada, is replacing the phone for free (as so they should).
