I have kept the plastic protector that was on the 6600 screen. Is there
anywhere we can get additional ones. I know they bubble a bit and are no
proper protectors but maybe someone knows a site where they do have them.

You could always bur some PDA screen protectors and cut them to size.

Or you can cut thin clear plastic sheet to the required size, then use
facial toner/astringent as a bonding agent. Position the plastic protector
onto the phone/casing. Carefully use hair dryer and heat the plastic sheet
for 10 seconds or so till no bubbles appear. It will stick on for ages (the
one on my 3310 stuck on once and for all till now since 03/2002)
