I've bought a 6100 on T-Mobile last week and it has firmware 4.70
23-04-03 on it.
From http://www.mwiacek.com/gsm/firmware/dct4_56.htm#6100 , it appears
that there is an updated firmware 5.16 26-09-03 which allows the right
soft key to be independantly configured - a feature which would be
very useful to me.
Is there anyone who recently purchased a UK 6100 already loaded with
firmware 5.16? If this is so, please let me know and I'll return this
phone to the shop and find one with an updated firmware (Nokia Service
Centre is a little too far away to conveniently update my phone).
Oh yeah, in case you've forgotten, check firmware version by typing
*#0000#.
Cheers,
Jon

Yes. I got mine a couple of weeks ago. Under Settings/Personal
Shortcuts/Right Selection Key, I have a choice of Goto or Names

Mine which was purchased at the start of November has 5.16 on it.
