    Re: Sanyo 8100 headset

I've tried the last three and a JABRA but not sure if it's the same model as
the one listed. My favorite one is the Plantronics 135. The 120 is basically
the same but the 135 has a mute and volume switch and a mike booster on the
connector that make it better than the 120. It's well worth the extra few
dollars. The Body Glove I just didn't like at all. I found it to be
cumbersome to get on and I had problems where the person I was talking to
couldn't hear me sometimes due to the short mike. The only thing I didn't
like about the Plantronics was the part that goes over the ear snapped on my
twice. You can't buy that piece from plantronics but I noticed that the
JABRA sets have a similar ear wrap. I bought an add-on kit that has three
different color ear wraps and I use that instead of buying a new headset.

Also notable is that the hole that the clip is inserted into on the
Jabra is actually hinged, so I suspect is more durable than the Plantronics.

Actually the P135 is hinged also allowing you to move the mike up and down.

I've never been happy with any of the ones I've gotten, I just don't
seem to hear as well... maybe it's just my imagination. Who knows.
