I have a Sanyo 8100. Is it possible to upload a new ringtone from my PC to
the phone. If so, what cables/software will I need?

Did you try http://myPhoneFiles.com ? You don't use a cable or anything
like that but you can download tons of different ringers to the phone.
Pictures too. If you have some personal pictures you can use the private
upload tool (in your private account) to send it to your phone so nobody
can see it. It's free too.
There is also cool software to make ringers out of audio CDs and MP3 files
in there to.

I've been to that site, and it never seems to work. But anyway, I have some
ringtones on my PC I'd like to transfer to my phone and want to know if it's
possible.

Before going through the expense, you might try these sites first -
http://www.3gupload.com
http://www.matrixm.com
http://www.xingtones.com
http://www.myphonefiles.com
If you still want to just do a direct connect to your phone, SnapMedia is
one product you might want to look at - http://futuredial.com/FD_flash.htm .
You will need to buy an USB cable as well, which they sell.
