We all know that AT&T is worst at porting, SprintPCS is worst at
Customer Service and T-Mobile is worst in coverage, but has anyone run a
survey as to who has the most "oops" on the bill ?

Strange, but when billing "errors" occur its always in the companies
    favor.

    Bonus minutes not credited
    Free activation charged for
    Free roaming charged for anyway
    Free Internet Connectivity charged for
    Free nights charged for

or whatever mistake was made. Sure if you argue enough they'll correct
your bill, but it happens month after month and always in the companies
favor. Internet Providers and Cable companies are also adding oops
    charges all too frequently.

Funny- it would appear that ATT is the worst in all three categories lately,
Phil. You really screwed the pooch when you changed carriers. Sprint may
have its problems, but ATT is now appears to have inherited a bunch of
    problems (just read the posts).

So do car dealers, grocery stores, department stores, landline telephone
companies, and the government, to name just a few more. My point is- what
the hell is your point, other than to be an idiot troll? We get screwed by
many more business entities than cellular, and in 99% of the cases where
they do make a mistake, they correct it on the spot and it never happens
    again.

When did you become the moderator of all of USENET ?

Sorry, I post when I want to, and if SprintPCS is guilty of oops charges
    then it gets posted.

Luckily folks can call *2 and say "Dropped Call Credit".

Yeah- you've are so smart- that's why you've switched to the carrier with
the worst Customer Service in the industry.

This sort of thing is why letting utilities "auto suck" what they think you
owe them out of your checking account or off of a credit card. Then it's
YOUR problem to straighten out, rather than just refusing to pay. This
direct pay idea has to be put to death.

Moderator of all (or any) USENET, no. But ... IN YOUR FACE ASSHOLE!
You need a good work over, and unfortunately for the rest of us, it
has not yet happened. It is clear that you post when you want to,
whether or not there is anything of real value to post.

What was the point of mentioning the "Dropped Call Credit"? I suspect
you are simply again attempting to drag down Sprint PCS, as it clearly
does not fix any billing errors, which is what you were supposedly
    posting about.

Or people could just avoid using direct-pay; it IS a horrible idea for
services where the monthly invoice amount varies.

Yeah. My German friend kept bemoaning how we Americans are so backwards and
still have bills sent out and checks sent back. Then he came to realize how
it works here. Now he agrees with me. In Germany, any direct pay you
disagree with is automatically refunded to you and it's up to the biller to
    do something about it.

.... which is the way Americans do it with credit cards. Whichever flaming
idiots decided that it shouldn't be the same way with checking accounts and
the debit cards with the Visa and MC logos should simply be pistol-whipped.

Y'all do realize that you have basically no recourse that allows for
instant credit on a dispute on a Check Card, right?

On many credit cards, including the one I carry, if there is a dispute,
you are credited instantly and only rebilled if the dispute is decided in
    the merchant's favor.

Heh, good luck. It is actively monitored, so you should get a
response quickly. Please send my condolences, as I am sorry that they
may have to deal with this clown.
