I know tis has been asked before, but since I didn't
have a camera phone, I didn't pay attention to the thread.

I don't need or want the $15/month Sprint Picture Mail
option, but I would like the abilty to send a picture to
an email address as opposed to uploading it to an online
album. The pictures.sprintpcs.com pages dont' explain this.

So...Is there a charge for "sharing" or sending it to an
    email address?

I think you'd pay per kb to send the picture. if you send alot of pictures
you'll end up paying more then what picture mail cost. By the way i thought
picture mail was $5 a month

Yes, there is a charge per KB, as you using Vision to send that picture.

Does that mean there are THREE different ways you can be charged
    for data?
    1) Vision - unlimted data from the phone (not talked about tethering
    it here).
    2) Per KB without a Vision plan.
    3) Per KB WITH a Vision plan if sending pictures

BTW, yes, I have Vision already.

Let me be a little more specific here - I already have the
$10 per month unlimited Vision plan. As in I can send all
the email I want or visit Sprint's home page hundred times
a day using my phone. OK, no argument with that.

    I haven't canceled my Vision Picture $15 per month, so I don't
know what will happen when I select "Upload" on my 8100. That's
uploading to the Sprint picture vault or whatever they call it.

I looked and looked and can't find any reference to support the
explanation that attaching a pic to an email will cost you data
usage. Can anyone confirm this - as in a Sprint site link?

Are you getting charged both $10 and $15 on your bill? AFAIK, you
should not be charged both. Maybe you could add the $5 Picture Mail
option to your $10 Vision option, but it would be better to just get the
$15 Vision Pictures Pack, as that would include the $5 download credit.

There would be no extra charge to send it to an email address. To follow up
on Jerome's follow up post, you aren't paying a combined $25 for all the
vision services are you? All you should be paying is $15/mo.

Thanks for the heads up Jerome. I checked my online billing and it
showed the $15 Vision Pictures Pack, but no Vision. I called CS
(only a 3 min wait)) and found out there is no cost diference
between plain Vision and Vision Pictures Pack. I stand corected as
I'm paying $15 for the plain Vision. The only difference is that
with the Pictures Pack, you get an online folder to upload your
    pictures to.

This pretty much answers my orginal question of if there were any
addional cost for sending a picture "attachment" in an email. This
was all predicated on the assumption that the Picture Pack was an
ADDTIONAL $15 above and beyond the $15 Vision. If this had been the
case, I would have dropped the Picture Pack and THAT'S what my
oringnal question revolved around - If I dropped the picture
pack, could I still send a picture in email and if so would there
    be any addtional data chages.

As a side note, you really don't send an attachment, rather you
send the link to the folder I mentioned above. Of course if you
send it to another Sprint phone, its actualy displayed as a
    picture.
