It's still listed as the current version. Bookmark this link so that you can
    reference it in the future.

1.116SP is the most current, but don't go shouting at a store if they
    don't have it.

Corp is trying a new "push" system for updates, and they took it off
our intranet install page. (I don't know if the push worked, I got a
copy of the files before it was released).

Supposedly the push is working, but if it isn't, it's turning into a
    P.I.T.A. to get it.

If you get a firmware upgrade, does that remove everything in your phone? I
can back up the phone list but what about the calendar? What about
applications such as spruce notes that has tons of info in it? Also, If I
delete an application such as spruce notes that saves info into the phone
will the information still be there? I mean, will the applications leave
them in memory and will the memory get full from all of these saved games
    and stuff???

Wait a minute- you busted on the scene here claiming to be the all-knowing
one, and that cell phones were 'child's play'. Another thing you don't
understand? THat would make at least a dozen, just based on your own posts.
Not covered in your ****ty FAQ? Hmm...

Only the phonebook is saved during a firmware install in the store. =20
TechGeek's an actual Store tech, so he can correct me if I'm wrong. =20
But, when I updated the N400 I had, that's all that survived.

It may depend on your phone model, as I remember NOT losing any of the pics,
screensavers, and new downloaded ringers after updating the firmware on my
    Sanyo 5300.

Thanks for the informational post and no insults.

There was another poster that said everything is saved.

Perhaps it's different with different phones?

(What is left unchanged of users data after a firmware update).

When I had my Samsung A500 flashed with new firmware, all of my games,
apps, ringers and phone book enteries remained intact. But it may vary
by phone, and also by human error if something goes wrong during the
    upgrade.

    Good luck,
    Eric
