    The un-written rules:

1: always use a cryptic screen name to hide behind. Make it sound old, so no
one knows your 12 years old.

2: Try to cram as many typos into one incomplete sentence as you can.

    3: Never respond on topic.

4: the 5th amendment only applies to statements we all like to hear. please
keep controversial topics away as they may be important.

5: if someone posts a question, make sure and flame them for bad *****ing
and poor grammar, and never answer their question.

6: always top-post, and never clean the text.

7: try to keep your statements as vague as you can. Someone else can fill in
    the details for you.

8: if you are debating on Usenet. there is no need to prove your side,
since you are right. simply state that the other person is wrong. There is
no need to post facts, or to clarify why they are wrong. They can figure it
    out.

9: usenet is 100% FACT. everything posted on Usenet can be thought of as
100% accurate, and does not need to be verified.

Anyone else out there care to add to the list? ;-)

If you totally disagree with the other side, don't argue, just call the
poster a Moron, a troll, or use some obscene words. The nastier the
    better.

    I'd like to add:

10: The guy who the most is the guy you can trust to be most accurate. He's
sure to have an answer to every question to share his vast knowledge as a
public service. (It isn't just that he has no life and spends all day
    posting on usenet.)

    Mark
