Well Phillipe, I see you are continuing your unmunging of email addresses
only to have those addresses harvested by spambots.

Oh, and just what personal attack did I allegedly do this time? Saying that
you've changed your EL and AOL id's 107 times? That's truth, pure and
simple. Maybe it's time to post that list once more.

Every time this phrase is used, I can't help but think of some large
robot in the middle of a bog cornfield, harvesting corn that it thinks
    is email addresses.

You know Bob, you would do yourself a favor by cutting that unmunged
email address out of the posts you quote as well.

Its a disservice to himself to think that bots cant unmunge. They've
    been doing that for years.

Phillip would post it anyway. Besides, that is exactly what the email
field is for! There is no valid reason for Phillip to do what he is
doing save spite. Why do you defend him in this?

I didn't defend anyone. I was merely stating that when an email address
is unmunged, when you quote it, you should take out your own unmunged
email addy from the quote. I would think that would cut down the damage
somewhat, as there wouldn't be as many posts out there with the email
    address exposed.

Once out, any number of further postings is rather irrelavent. It takes
a long time for the amount of spam to reduce after a public post to
USENET. Trust me, I know; it took me a couple of years to reduce it
50%, which your friend Phillip undid in a few minutes.

So, you don't do it out of malice? It seem pretty clear to me that you
do. There is no reason for YOU to unmunge anybody's email address.
