I have 3 phones on one account. 1 of the phones is eligible for upgrade and
has no current service contract. I would like to upgrade the phone and get
an instant rebate. Sprint refuses to do this because I am an existing
customer. Can I deactivate the line I want to change phones on and simply
add a new line to receive the instant rebate? I assume I would have to add
the new line first, then cancel the one with the old phone. I do not need to
keep the old phone # on the old phone. Will this work?
