Signal Strength In Central NJ?

I'm considering changing cell providers. How's Sprints service in central
New Jersey?

Central NJ has had great coverage for quite a while. the Piscataway
area used to be a bit spotty but has improved greatly. Edison,
New/East/North/South Brunswick and rest of Middlesex and Somerset
counties are well-covered. A couple years ago it used to be that
dropped calls were common, but I haven't had any in over a year.

Sprint made it a point to cover major highways well, and considering NJ
is 75% major highways, that's a good thing. As a previous post
mentioned, you'll only have trouble in the pinelands in southern NJ, but
even Verizon and Cingular have some trouble down there. If you're
really worried about this, then you can get the $5 roaming package
add-on, and between Sprint covering nearly all of the state and Verizon
filling in the gaps, you should be fine.
