Eh, my 660 is in two pieces, but my VGA-1000 does it the same way... lemme
see...
Highlight the entry in the phone book, press OK, press MENU and select Erase
to erase the entire phonebook entry.
Highlight the entry in the phone book, press OK, scroll down to the number
you want to erase, press Menu and select Erase to get rid of a specific
number and leave the rest of the phonebook entry intact.
This, btw, is all in the user guide that came with your phone.

There should be an options icon, when you go to your address book. Just go
into the address book, highlight the entry, then go into the options menu
and erase that entry.
By the by, I'd suggest you download the users manual for that phone, which
can be had here ...http://www.samsungtelecom.com/pdf/A660.pdf

Shame on you, Bob.
Being the rah-rah-rah Sprint cheerleader that you are... I would have
expected you to point out that user guides are also available in PDF format
at sprintpcs.com. In fact, the PDFs at SPCS's website are PDF versions of
Sprint's printed manuals, which means they'll include Sprint's customer
agreement, Terms of Service, and other legal stuff that the OP might find
useful some day.

SPCS no longer includes a user's manual with the phones they sell?

LOL Steve. I did try to go through SPCS's site to find a manual, and
couldn't find it. So, I went to Samsung's site, and guess what, if you open
up that link above ... it is the SPCS manual ...

SPCS offers a basic manual with some of their phones, but not the full
manual. The OP did not say whether he had or didn't have the full manual.

A basic manual in which it is 90% about using sprintpcs and sprintpcs
services with maybe the other 10% explaining how you must have bought
something which we know of as a phone. It has maybe a few button combos
but other then that it is pretty much a large sprintpcs service manual.
