I have used PTT, but haven't been very impressed, especially when I
can't PTT to Nextel or other carriers. Sprint has something called
VoiceSMS, kind of like sending text messages with your voice instead of
typing. Has anyone tried it? Is it worth getting?
I don't have an unlimited data plan, its not clear how much each
    message will cost

Does it use VoiceMode? Cingular has had the Samsung P207 for sometime now,
and it runs VoiceSignal's voice recognition software as well as their
VoiceMode software which translates speech to SMS text.
