"More than a week," huh?
Aren't you the patient one! <g>
Just out of curiosity, which carrier are you going with?

Re: Cancelled Sprint
Not so patient but see it this way... the people I spoke to were
congenial and seemed professional but, all I kept getting were excuses
concerning when the service would be available and could give no end in
sight to the problem plus;
when I called to cancel there was only the question why and they
practically paid me to get out. So 'that' was a no brainer.
They must consider whatever isn't happening more work than we are worth
at $80/month.
Considering options but appears Verizon.

Verizon is worse (Re: Cancelled Sprint)
And not even unlimited:
http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20060726/1926251.shtml
- "unlimited data, for certain types of data"
"Unlimited NationalAccess/BroadbandAccess services cannot be used (1) for
uploading, downloading or streaming of movies, music or games, (2) with
server devices or with host computer applications, including, but not
limited to, Web camera posts or broadcasts, automatic data feeds, Voice over
IP (VoIP), automated machine-to-machine connections, or peer-to-peer (P2P)
file sharing, or (3) as a substitute or backup for private lines or
dedicated data connections... We reserve right to limit throughput or amount
of data transferred, deny or terminate service, without notice, to anyone we
believe is using NationalAccess or BroadbandAccess in any manner prohibited
above or whose usage adversely impacts our network or service levels."
Verizon will never get my business.

Re: Verizon is worse (Re: Cancelled Sprint)
As they say guys, to each his own. I'm going to save $25/mo over
Sprintpcs plus no minutes used to call the four kids all over the
country. If Sprint had not overpriced their family plan for so long,
that would have been reversed. Buenas Dias.

What about getting free PCS-to-PCS? No need for any minutes to talk to the
kids.

Re: Verizon is worse (Re: Cancelled Sprint)
Yea, that is what he should have done instead of running to Verizon.

Have you been a customer of all wireless providers?

All except T-Mobile. Just left Verizon 1.5 years ago.

Then you're not in a position to judge which company is the best of all
wireless providers.

Re: Cancelled Sprint
No, However, I have a good opinion redarding Cingular, Verizon, and Sprint
since I have been with all of them. I will not comment on T-mobile since I
have not used their service.

Exactly the same reason I left Verizon. "The network" is overrated, and
not worth the price or the arrogance.
