I am currently in the process of determining what new Sprint phone will
replace my Sanyo MM7400. I prioritize the features that I need as follows:

    1. Telenav Support. I use this navigational system on a daily basis and
therefore it is a must-have. Note that the Sanyo 8400 will have Telnav
support within the next several weeks.

    1. Ability to force Digital Roaming at will! This is mandatory.

    1. Good reception. Must be able to hold-on to weak signals.

    1. Good rugged keypad. Hopefully not a plastic POS. I text like a
motha-F***** and therefore need a good rugged keypad.

    1. T9 word support. Since I text like a motha-F*****, I need T9 word
    support.

    1. Power Vision. I surf the web on the phone and even host my own wap pages
    so this is a MUST.

    1. Bluetooth. If it don't have Bluetooth in this day and age, it is a piece
of S*H*I*T and I don't want to hear about it!

    1. Good Battery Life. I go on long trips and use Telenav. I currently have a
Sanyo MM7400 with the extended battery and it meets my needs.

    2. Thin phone. I would like a thin phone. I know that the thin phones don't
get good battery life, however maybe I could have the option of attaching an
extended battery to the thin phone?

    2. Small Charger with fold-away prongs. I want to put the charger in my
pocket and need the fold-away prongs so that they don't stick me in the
A*S*S. My current Sany0 7400 has a nice charger with this feature and I just
shove the charger in my back pocket.

    3. Media player with ability to add external memory. This would be a nice
feature, but I could live without the external memory if the phone meets all
    of my other stated criteria.

    What do you guys recommend?

    Thanks,

    Mij

Based on your requirements, it sounds a lot like you want a RAZR.

Telenav will be released for the Sanyo 8400 within the next several weeks.
:Is the RAZR a better phone than the Sanyo 8400? I have narrowed it down to
    these two choices. Opinions please.

    Thanks,
