    What's the best car?

It all depends on your needs/wants/budget/etc.

The Treo is probably the best on the market, but that is pretty much my opinion based on my own needs and wants.

Thank you! I was just about to post the same thing. Not only do I not "want"
a signature like that, I don't want to see anyone else's either. Talk about
    annoying...

Nothing quite like having a phone that runs hot enough to leave burn
marks, but has a microsoft operating system to make it dog slow.
Have it corrupt itself at least once a week and let trojans make international
calls and you have a perfect windows pdaphone.

I had a moto q and conceptually its great, but in reality it sucks. I
traded it (since sprint offers a 30 day return) for a treo 755 and i'm
pretty happy with it. I loved the windows on the q, but the battery lasted
less than 2 hours of use (whether on calls or web or whatever) and even less
with bluetooth enabled (which i used only in the car with a gps). So far,
the treo has been fine. The treo also seems to get more bars in more
paces. I put sling on both and it works WAY better on the treo. On the
Q, no matter what i did with the settings, any call rcvd while watching
sling went to voice mail. The treo will interrupt viewing when a new call
    comes in.
Thats my thoughts so far on those 2 devices.
I have a Plaxo sig too, but i turn it off when I post because its pretty
    annoying.

Because you are not computer literate we should put up with your HTML
crap on a text only usenet group? That really not very neighborly,
    Loreal Marie.

Unfortunately, your cavalier attitude might piss off some folks who
happen to be downloading these messages on a dial-up network and have to
    pay for the privilege.

Maybe that's to be expected from someone who would jump on the Plaxo
    bandwagon.

Just think, though, how would you like it if everyone just went to:

    http://messaging.sprintpcs.com/textmessaging/compose

and sent you a text message at 518-330-5188.

Not a pretty picture is it?

    As Notan said **PLONK**

Re: Which Sprint PDA phone is the best????

I've had most of the Sprint smartphones since day one -
Qualcomm, Samsung, Treo 300, 600, and then the very first Treo
650 to be unloaded in my home town. On the business side of my
life, I've had Blackberry and Motorola.

My new 755p has taken a lot of hits because it's no great
departure from its predecessors, but to me that's one of its
attractions - it's just more of the same excellence. The day I
opened the box I knew 99% of what was needed to operate it
properly, and owned hundreds of dollars worth of tried-and-true
software for it. Further, I had absolute trust earned by the
combination of Sprint and Palm. Their stuff just plain "works".

No, but since you've made a big deal over it I've uninstalled the toolbar, thereby losing many of my addresses. I never said it was anyone's fault. I'm sorry if my business signature bothers you or anyone else.

Re: Which Sprint PDA phone is the best????

Let me ask you two questions. First off what is Sling (if I'm *****ing it correctly? Like I said in an earlier post further up in the thread I have the Sprint PPC6700. I haven't used any other PDA having only used this for two months. I've been very happy with this device, but I don't know too many differences between the Trio and the other PDAs that are out there. I've heard that processor speed on several other pda models out there is half the speed of mine, and I'm currently running 416 MHZ processor with Windows Mobil 5.0. I may upgrade in a year or so to the PC6800 which has Windows Mobile 6.0 on it, but this of course is dependent on funds. I'd have gone with the 6800 now, but I got the 6700 for free and simply switched my service over to it.

I still have my Treo 650 and even though there have been some issues with
it, they were minor issues. They only phone I'd trade my Treo for would be
if Samsung came out with a new version of their i500, with more memory,
better screen, speaker phone and an SD Card slot.

Well, then I'm sorry. But I don't have vision, I'm blind. Therfore I don't know what the size of the font is. I've never changed the font sizes since day one.

I hate to tell you this, but even though your neat sig is gone you are still posting in HTML.

If you are using OE, look for the setting to change from HTML to "Plain Text" under Tools->Options->Send->News Sending Format.

I don't mind your HTML, I just wish you used a bigger font when you used HTML.
