    card has been replaced. bad battery in the first one.
    works great now.
    have to subscribe to a news server as sprint does not have one. then can divorce cable permanently.

    They do not have a battery. They are powered by your Laptop, someone is BSing you. But since they replaced the bad card with a good one. you are the winner. ENJOY!!

    sorry to be the one to have to burst your bubble. but it does have a battery.
    slips in the back similar to the way a cell phone battery installs. and about the same size.

    it is a Sierra Wireless Air Card 595U.
