While writing the address book to the phone, the message 'Service Required,
please call 888-211-4727 for assistant' popped up. Then the phone reboot
itself. What's wrong?

Absolutly nothing, that is normal whenever data is being transmitted
with a lot of Sanyos. Every 4000 series that's had a phonebook swap or
update that i've done have said that.

Re: 4900 SnapSync 'Service Required'
Thanks for the information. Just recall when I activate the phone for the
first time, it also got such reboot before I can finish the procedures
following instructions printed on the manual. The phone is working anyway,
so I didn't pay much attention. However, it's a pain that it can't update
the phonebook with SnapSync.

Re: 4900 SnapSync 'Service Required'
You might want to look into Susteen's DataPilot software
(http://www.datapilot.com); it works very well with my 5150, whereas
SnapSync didn't.
