I've installed PCSCM on my WinXP machine and can connect my LG5350 via USB
and go online. I've installed Sprint's PCS Connection Manager software on my
Windows 98SE machine. Then when I launch the app and connect phone via USB
to machine my PC still doesn't see that phone is connected.
Any advice on making PCS Connection Manager see my phone is connected to my
Win98SE machine?

Re: PCS Connection Manager and Win98SE
Not sure how to get the 5350 going specifically with the PCS Connection
Manager via Win 98SE, but I was successful getting the 5350 going via the
default Windows Dialer using the standard #777 as the Vision connect code.
Now I'm presuming you've got a Futuredial USB cable. If you bought it from
Radio Shack or from an Ebay vendor, then that's what you probably have.
First, go to Futuredial at http://www.futuredial.com and go to the driver
download page. Look for the Prolific driver for SnapSync under the Samsung
driver downloads. This will download the generic Prolific USB to RS-232c
driver. Don't worry about it being under the Samsumg downloads... it works
with lots of phones using a USB to RS-232c converter. Next, set the 5350 to
use a RS-232c connection via the "Settings" menu. Then, find the Sprint
phone modem choice in the Win 98SE modem choices and create a new modem
using this configuration. Finally, create a new connection using #777 as the
phone number. No username or password info is needed in the dialer since the
phone always sends this info itself automatically.
Took me quite awhile to figure the above out. Definitely wasn't as easy
getting my LG 5350 on the net as it was getting my Sanyo 4900 going, but I
do think the 5350 does a better job of it.
