I just got my PCS service and was looking for ring tones to download.
But I'm new to this. How do I get them from the web site to my phone?
Do I need a data cable? Do I need special software? If so, where can I
find this?

First off, if you don't have the Vision option on your account, you will be
responsible for an additional charge for the amount of data you download.
Ringers are pretty small files, so it's not that costly ... without Vision
on the account.
Now, with that said, you can download ringers from your manage page on
www.sprintpcs.com 's page for an additional cost. You can also go to several
other sites, where you can sign up and get free downloads. Most, if not all
of these sites ask for a donation, or offer an annual subscription fee. I
don't keep a list of those sites. One I am familiar with and have used is
www.3gupload.com . Others here can offer other URLs.

No, not really. There is some software out there to sync data, pictures and
ringers if you wanted to do that located @
http://www.futuredial.com/matrix/M_sanyo.htm . It shows that your model is
supported for Snap Media. You can buy a cable from them, or at Radio Shack
for $20.
Have fun ...
