    I told Sprint that I'd be moving, and so needed to change my phone
    number to one that was local to my new area. The rep told me that I'd
    have to sign on to a new plan because the one I was on was
    unavailable in the new area. He hooked me up with a sweeter plan.

    Now, when I log into my account details from the SPCS web site, I
    look at the additional services available to add to my Free & Clear
    plan, and 'Wireless Web' is gone!

    Is there now no way that I can use my phone for internet data, aside
    from buying a Vision compatible phone and switching to a Vision plan?

    You can add it back on, but I don't remember if its $5 or $10 per month.

    No new contract should be required, either.

    You have to call them up. I had WW added to my F&CA Vision Plan. I had
    to call them. I canceled it because I just wanted to know that WW and
    Vision is possible on the same account.
