Phone goodies/tricks?

I have the Sanyo 5300, and I was wondering if there are any little
tricks or goodies hidden in this phone, i.e. keypad inputs to make
different things come up on the screen. Also, I know that the phone
is "GPS Ready", according to SprintPCS, and was wondering if there was
anyway to access this function without calling 911 or something like
that. Ya know, like a GPS locator on the cheap?

has some people discussing the 5300, but its apparently too new a phone
for "Easter Eggs" to have been identified. Apparently GPS functionality
does not extend to any applications other than 911 identification.

Most of the Sprint PCS phones have had the GPS (aka E911) ability in them
for the last 18 months or so. Samsung has had it in its phones since the
A400. I am not sure when Sanyo first added the feature. However, in all
cases, E911 is always on and thus any application designed to use it could
theoretically get this data. You should have the ability to shut it off (on
my Samsung A500 a symbol appears showing that it is disabled). When off, it
should only broadcast GPS data when 911 is called.

The short answer to your question is that the function is already being
"accessed". There are no applications that currently utilize this feature
however. To my knowledge, the GPS data will show up on the debug screens,
but I am not sure how much use that information would be to you.

Probably, Sanyo added E911 with the 4900.
My 5150s did not have it.

Imagine, Mons/Parps upload Stealth software into kids' CellFones.
Whenever the CellFones are one, they will send(gps data) to Mon's PC or Mon's
voice mails in specific interval. So Mons will know exactly where they kids
are.

How many Mons will sign up for this kind of software programs?
