Sprint share plan

Was convinced a year ago to stay with sprint and utilize their share
plan. Was told I could put whole family on plan and share minutes. Now a
year into the plan while attempting to put my last daughters phone on
the account they tell me there is a five phone limit and I will have to
sign up for another plan for the sixth phone. Needless to say I now have
purchased 7 sprint phones for nothing.

Does anyone know of a cell company that will allow 6 phones to share
minutes. I am looking to write off the loss of the sprint phones and go
with another company that does not lie just to sign people up.

How many times have you visited SPCS's site, and read up on the family
plan. SPCS has always placed a five phone limit on their add-a-phone
plans.

Is there a way you could qualify for a business plan? If you could, I
don't believe there is a limit on the number of phones,.

The business thing is a good idea, but if you do the math, there is not
really a whole lot of difference in $ if you had 2-3phone plans vs the
extra charges --especially if you're paying the $20 for the add ons--the
M2M is going to work either way.

It's confusing, doesn't it depend on the size of the plan, day and or
hour of the week, and attitude of c/s guy you talk to, etc.

Consumer accounts are limited to 5 lines per account.. even if you were
NOT on a Add-A-Phone plan, you would still only be able to activate 5
phones on the account.. You will have to activate a second account to
have a phone available for your daughter.. However, I believe you only
allowed to have ONE account per Name and SS#. So you may have to
activate this second account under your wife's name and SS# (If your
daughter is under 18) or if she is not under 18, activate it under her
name.

Now if you run a business, you could convert you account under your
business name and run you Tax ID number, and see if it qualifies for
more than 5 lines.. Business accounts are the only accounts I know were
you can qualify for more than 5 lines, but the credit has to be run off
your business' tax ID number, not your SS#.

If your primary phone is already on a share plan, then we are allowed to ad=
d=20
phones under that plan. New shared minute plans are all $20 per added=20
subscription.

I *don't* speak for them.

I had the $10/phone plan on 5 phones, and on my retention deal they
insisted on $20/phone (only the added ones, not the primary), but
comp'd two phones. The net is $40 in add-a-phone charges on a 5 phone
plan.

When Retention enters the discussion, the rules *are* different. Since=20
the original poster didn't mention retention, I was speaking only of the=20
"standard" retail plans.
