I don't think this has been posted yet so I though I would.

You might need to download a java program to view the maps but it's a
great new feature. The yellow dots are current towers while the green
dots are planned future towers. Some of the green ones might already be
on the air as the maps are over a month old.

Re: New Sprint online tower location maps!
That is awesome! They're even starting to give tower location info for their
affiliates like Rogers in Missouri. Can't seem to zoom down to street detail
in the Rogers market, but this for now is good enough and I'm sure it will
get even better.

Re: New Sprint online tower location maps!
Yeah it would be nice if you could zoom down one more level wouldn't it?

Thanks, Larry!
Yes, at least two of the 'diamonds' around here are now operating.

Yeah I've been able to confirm that at least 4 of the green ones in the
Los Angeles/Orange County area are up and running now.

Thanks for posting the link Larry. Amazing to see all the new towers that
will be going in, in the LA, NYC, etc. Considering these are all one month
old, you are right ... some have been turned on, like the I-5 corridor
through Camp Pendleton ...

Re: New Sprint online tower location maps!
Yeah the Camp Pendleton towers were actually turned on 2 months ago but
they forgot to add them to the active list I guess.

Re: New Sprint online tower location maps!
The green diamonds are planned future tower locations. The yellow dots
are existing towers.

Re: New Sprint online tower location maps!
Sprint shows yellow diamonds on a major interstate near my home and yet
there are no towers.
Weird

Yellow diamonds? Are you sure they aren't green?

Re: New Sprint online tower location maps!
I see purple horseshoes and green clovers!
Seriously though, I'm wary of some of the towers that appear in areas where
the consumer Sprint site says there is no service (and where I doubt you
could signup for service with that zip code location).
Specifically, I'm referring to Southern Vermont.

Re: New Sprint online tower location maps!
I find the maps to be entirely accurate, however some the green
diamond cells are active. These maps are great, i've waited a long
time for this
