I have just received my new mobile phone which is a Sony Ericsson V800, the
phone I have been using is a Nokia 6600.
Does anyone know if there is a simple way of copying all my telephone
numbers (and any other contact details i.e. email addresses) from my Nokia
6600 to my new Sony Ericsson V800 without having to type it all in manually?
Any help or information will be gratefully received.
Thanks!

Re: Putting contact numbers on SE V800 - please help
Here is a cool software that I would use to get that done:

Although they have listed the software for Sony Ericsson V800
separately at the url below, I noticed that the part number is the same
so it will work for both phones:

Just upload your phone book from Nokia 6600 to any PC and download it
down to Sony Ericsson and you are done!

How about Nokia to LG phones?

Yes, you can do the exact same thing with those as well provided that
the Nokia and LG phones that you are referring to, must be Bluetooth
compatible (you did not mention the model numbers). If you call Nokia
and LG with your model numbers, they would also be able to confirm
whether you have bluetooth compatible phones or not. In the event that
they are not bluetooth compatible, you may have to use a USB data cable
kit instead. Check one out here:

Another cool option is Infrared where you plug usb cord in your pc and
place the dongle by the phone (no plugging and unplugging mess with the
phone) - However, this option is good for you only if your Nokia and LG
phones support Infrared which they would most likely but confirm with
LG and Nokia before buying these:

I know about these options because I have tried them all with so many
different phones we have within our large family. Someone or the other
loses or breaks a phone each month!
