Using cell for business

Am thinking about going totally cellular with my business -- perhaps keeping
a single line for the fax.

Can anyone educate me on the joys and pit-falls of doing this?

What's a good plan?

What's the best phone for something like this -- may need to use this in a
noisy environment from time to time?

I'd say this _really_ depends on the type of business (what type of calls
will you be getting, how often, when, etc) you operate and how many minutes
you normally spend on calls. One pit fall...? Using more minutes then your
plan allows, combining your person cell and business cell so that your
getting business calls even when your not working.

We have a diverse and scattered group of people at our company. We may have
people in 4 or 5 states at the same time. We use cell phones exclusivly.
Each individual gets a phone and plan that they need/want and the company
pays for the phone plan. This works grewat for us. The individual can adjust
minute needs for their usage, for instance one of our managers has a 2500
minute plan on Sprint where a lot of us get by with 900 minutes on Cingular.

Works for us!

You might have some doubts from your potential customers if you don't
have a landline with a number they can verify.
For example, I don't order from online companies unless I can find a
physical address and a phone number I can check.
How will your customers react if your service is bad and you keep dropping
them?
