Beware The Dubious iPhone Sellers On Ebay
Original article here ... Beware The Dubious iPhone Sellers On Ebay
Ebay sellers are currently claiming to have an Apple iPhone for sale. Yet, the iPhone won't hit the market before June!
Last week, an unsuspecting buyer paid $1125 for an iPhone, reports Mad4MobilePhones. Today, an ebay search revealed 322 iPhones, apparently all by the same seller, same text and same bluried pictures that look like a cardboard model based on freely available pictures of the iPhone.
The wording of that ad never actually claims that you will receive an actual iPhone and I believe that's just the excuse this seller uses: he's selling... the cardboard model you are seeing on his pictures.
Interestingly, the "seller" has a surprising 100% positive feedback, but don't always rely blindly on ebay scores. Experienced ebay users know that there are ways to negotiate one's way to a great score. Aron Hsiao, our guide to About Ebay, offers great tips on safe ebay bidding.
Beware!
