Has anyone found a solar charger for iphone that actually works? I tried the one from CECompass and after 3 days in direct bright sunlight, it would not charge my iphone.

I like the Freeloader and Freeloader Pro, but I don't know if that's what you're looking for. If it's for iPhone only, it might be overkill.

Re: solar charger
Essentially you get what you pay for... a cheap one will have lower quality panels and will produce less power (not enough). The battery in the iphone requires 5V i believe and anything less will not charge it.

Re: solar charger
I think that very soon, we will all be practically dependent on solar energy. Already many people are gradually switching to this type of alternative energy. What can I say if even the cemetery are beginning to use solar lighting? Here is an interesting article with a review on Cemetery Solar Lights . It seems like a great idea.
