I have a game installed on my iPhone called "Mittens". Made by Disney.

I was looking to get it for my daughter's iPad but I can't find it in the Apple store any more. Do apps get "retired" or pulled?

The game is fun, and it's by Disney, so it's family friendly. Any reason it would be gone? And is there an alternative to the Apple app store to get the game?
