Hi Everyone,
I have a secondary line on an ATT family plan. I'm currently using a Blackjack II for that line, but would like to upgrade it to an iPhone. I'm not sure if this is possible without canceling my current plan all together and signing up for a new one, which isn't a viable option for me...so,is there any way to upgrade a secondary line on a family plan to an iPhone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you are eligible for an upgrade, you can get any phone you want on that line. You can get any phone you want on any line whether it is the primary line or the secondary line. You would have to renew the contract only on the line which you upgraded. You have to get the Data Plan for the iPhone 3G if you chose that phone.

Re: Replacing existing ATT line with iPhone?
Sign into OLAM and click Upgrade options. Then select the line you want to upgrade. Beside each line will be a statement that you are either eligible for an upgrade or a reduced pricing dicount, The statement will tell the date you are eligible for a full discount on a upgrade. Full discount does not mean free but it means the lowest offered price.

Re: Replacing existing ATT line with iPhone?
If you get the iPhone on the secondary line, it will automatically make that the primary line and make the other the secondary line. It's not a big distinction since the pricing will be the same as just adding the data plan. You can get an iPhone at any time. If you're upgrade eligible then it will be $199 (8gb) but if you're not then it will be $399 (8gb).
