I could not find a previous thread with this question. If it was already answered, please point me to correct thread. Thanks.
Simple situation:
Listen to stereo music ("wireless stereo" A2DP). Now make a phone call.
This does not seem to be possible without stopping the car and stumbling through 8 levels of menus.
Hardware: T-Mobile Dash 3G + I-Phono BT 420Rx
Paired correctly. On Dash 3G selected (check box) both Wireless Stereo and Hands Free.
Listen to stereo music through bluetooth set OK.
Receive call through bluetooth set OK.
But when I initiate call, no sound/no microphone on either bluetooth set or phone. I have to go into the menu (buried 8 levels deep), uncheck "wireless stereo" and then I can make a phone call using bluetooth set. Then if I want to listen again to stereo music I have to go into the menu (buried 8 levels deep) and check again "wireless stereo".
Which completely rules out in the car listening to stereo music via bluetooth, initiating phone call and resuming stereo music via bluetooth.
This is such a simple scenario!
I am wondering if this "technical impossibility" is created by my phone (T-Mobile Dash 3G) or by my bluetooth stereo set (I-Phono BT 420Rx).
How can I correct this? Software? A different stereo set?
Thanks.
