Can anyone share how to get comcast email on your cingular cell phone? Razer!

I just bought a Razer and the salesperson explained that I would be able to get my POP3 comcast email on my cell phone? I bought the 9.99 medianet package as he stated that should be all I would need to retreieve email from time to time. I very rarely send text messages nor do I surf the net. Can anyone possibly share how to change or add my comcast pop3 account to my cell so I can achieve this? I am searching the net like crazy trying to find some info? I am starting to think the salesman is nutz.... LOL...

I don't think you can. I don't think comcast supports email clients outside of their network. They have their webmail client for you to use when you are off their network. Go to Comcast.net and click on the email link at the top.
Or go down the page and look for the help link.

Well that is strange? The salsesman stated that he uses comcast as his ISP and he can retrieve his emails from his cell phone? There has to be some sort of info somewhere on how to do this???

However you input the comcast pop settings into your phone, they are the same as if you were setting up outlook express on your computer. Check your user manual for how input these settings:

incoming mail server: pop.comcast.net
outgoing mail server: smtp.comcast.net

I check my mail on my phone when I am away from the computer for more than a day. Note that many (if not all?) phones do not have a setting for outgoing mail, as they will by default use the outgoing server your carrier provides.
