    i'm looking at buying a phone on ebay but it says may not work on some cingular networks. i live in utah i talked to customer support and they say they think my area uses 850 and 1900 does anyone know for sure. and does that mean quad band will work here?

    Check wirelessadvisor.com for coverage.

    Yes, a quad band phone wil work because it supports 850/900/1800/1900.
