    I had a 286 for less than a year ago. I bought it at a flee-market.
    It had Windows 2.11 (!), but it didn't work. All that happened when I tried to start Windows 2.11 was a lot of ASCII-smilies, and other ASCII-characters on a blue background, and then it went back to the command-line.
    What amused be about the computer was that the AUTOEXEC.BAT-file was set to open Commander Keen at boot up.
    I loved that computer, but it was never the same after I opened it and looked at its interial design. Big mistake...
