As the majority of gadget enthusiasts out there already know, the HTC One flagship has been launched in two main colors; those being Stealth Black and Glacial Silver. Nevertheless, with many smartphone manufacturers nowadays directing their efforts into offering more customization options (such as Motorola and its X phone and even Samsung who has announced a handful of new colors for the SGS4), it's not really a surprise that HTC is also aiming at expanding its list of options.

With that in mind, HTC has not long ago announced and released the Glamor Red One in the UK, and ever since then we've been wondering whether or not this particular flavor will be made available in other regions as well. As it turns out, according to @evleaks who is a pretty accurate source of inside information, the Glamor Red version of the HTC flagship will arrive in the US as well, through Sprint.

Though the source is not mentioning any release dates, previous "whispers" have suggested that the mobile operator in question might launch the red model on August 16. At this point, it's unclear whether or not other carriers in the US will be interested in launching the Glamor Red variant in their stores, but if they're planning on doing so, then more information is bound to surface sooner rather than later.

As a quick reminder for those of you who might not be too familiar with the HTC One, this gadget packs a 4.7 inch 1080 x 1920 display, a Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, an UltraPixel main camera complemented by a 2 MP secondary sensor, Boom Sound setup backed up by Beats Audio, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, upgradable to Android 4.2.2, the new Sense 5 user interface on top and a 2,300 mAh battery to keep everything up and running.

Would anyone be interested in buying the Glamor Red HTC One via Sprint?
