Nokia Lumia 928 – Release Date Imminent?

The Nokia Lumia 928 in the US is supposed to be Verizon's retaliation to AT&T's exclusivity on the Lumia 920. As many of you should know by now, the aforementioned carrier had exclusivity rights on the 920 for months, reason why non-AT&T customers in the States had no option of purchasing the Nokia flagship through their favorite mobile operator.

Nevertheless, the rumored Lumia 928 is most likely going to be delivered by Verizon once the device is going to be released, but the question is: when?

To put it simply, there's no real answer to that question. However, the Finnish smartphone manufacturer is now getting ready to host an event in London on May 14th, and many tech enthusiasts hope that the international variant of the 928 will make an appearance on stage.

But what's even more interesting is that, third party accessories for the Lumia 928 have recently started to appear on Amazon. This is usually an indicator that the gadget itself is really close to its release.

Both Atom and Luxmo are now offering black and clear Lumia 928 protective cases, and Atom is offering a bundle of accessories including a cover case, an LED keychain light, a screen protector and a Lumia 928 Micro USB car charger at the price of $9.99.

Once again, the presence of accessories is usually a pretty big hint that the device they've been designed for is right around the corner. This theory is valid with both official and third party accessories, so all in all, Verizon customers might soon have the opportunity to finally own the Windows Phone 8 flagship phone they've been waiting for.
