The above device is the MegaFon's Mint smartphone, that will supposedly run off of Intel's Atom Z2460 processor chip. The phone comes from MegaFon, a Russian carrier, who plans on launching this device with its own Intel device. Other devices that are known to run on Intel include: Lenovo K800, Orange San Diego and Lava XOLO X900.
MegaFon believes that they can produce the same quality handset as the above, but the device will set one back at 17,990 rubles ($565). You can purchase the MegaFon Mint now with the carrier.
Features of the MegaFon Mint include: Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread, 1.6 GHz single-core Atom processor, a 4.03-inch 600×1024 touchscreen, 1 GB of RAM, an 8 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, 16 GB of built-in storage, NFC, 1,460 mAh battery and all the usual connectivity options.
